Website Design for Baltimore's Small Businesses & Independent Creatives
Few cities carry as much neighborhood character as Baltimore. Fells Point has its cobblestone charm, Hampden its quirky independent spirit, Federal Hill its waterfront energy, and each one shapes how local customers search and shop. Your website should be designed with that same personality, not a one-size-fits-all layout.
I design custom WordPress websites for Baltimore's small businesses and creative entrepreneurs, built around the identity that makes your business stand out.
Web Design for Federal Hill and Fells Point Businesses
If your business is in Federal Hill or Fells Point, you're competing in some of Baltimore's most visible, foot-traffic-heavy neighborhoods, which means your website needs to work as hard as you do. The goal is a website that helps your business stand out and grow.

Designed for Hampden, Canton, and Station North's Creative Scene
From Hampden's independent retail scene to Canton's waterfront businesses to Station North's arts and gallery community, Baltimore's small business landscape is genuinely varied, and I love working across all of it. No matter where you call home, the goal is the same: a website that captures what makes your business worth finding.
Built Around Smalltimore Loyalty
Supporting small, independent businesses is a big part of why I do this work. In Baltimore, that mission finds a natural home. Smalltimore is real, and so is the fierce local loyalty that comes with it; people here want to support businesses that feel like their own. I keep that spirit in mind in every site I build to help businesses, like yours, put their best foot forward online.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you help my business stand out in a city with so much small business competition?
Baltimore has one of the strongest independent business scenes around, which means standing out matters. I focus on what makes your business genuinely different, not just a nice-looking template, so your site gives people a real reason to choose you.
I'm in Hampden's maker or retail community. Do you understand that market?
Yes, this is some of my favorite work. Hampden has a distinct, independent identity, and I love working with businesses that carry that same spirit.
Do I need to provide my own website content, or can that be part of the project?
Either works. If you already have content written, we can build around that. If not, I offer copywriting and SEO as an add-on, so we can talk through what makes sense and get your site fully ready to launch, words included.
My website already exists, but it doesn't feel like it fits my business. Do I need to start over?
Not always. If your current site has a strong foundation, I'll often recommend targeted improvements and only suggest a full rebuild if that's genuinely what would get you further. My goal is to help you get a site that actually feels like your business, not waste what's already working.
Does your support end once my website is live?
Not at all. I offer hosting and maintenance after launch, so you're not left to figure things out alone. We can talk about what ongoing support looks to find what meets your needs.
Which areas do you serve in Baltimore?
With years of experience serving Maryland small businesses, I understand what it takes to help a business stand out here. Based in Frederick, Maryland, I work with businesses throughout the Baltimore area, including Fells Point, Federal Hill, Hampden, Canton, Station North, Locust Point, Mount Vernon, Charles Village, and Towson, fully remote.
